How we're built

Senior engineers only. On purpose.

Code Majesty Tech is five senior .NET engineers and nobody else. No juniors to supervise, no account managers to go through, no handoffs between the person who understood your problem and the person who solves it. This page explains what that changes, what it costs you, and when it's the wrong choice.

What senior-only actually changes

You talk to the person writing the code

There is no account manager translating your requirements into tickets and no project manager relaying answers. The engineer in the kickoff call is the engineer in the pull requests. Questions get answered by someone who can also change the code.

Problems are recognised, not discovered

Most expensive engineering mistakes are not hard — they are familiar to anyone who has seen them before. An N+1 query, a token server with no rollback plan, a migration sequenced top-down. Senior engineers have usually already paid for that lesson on someone else's project.

Less process, because less is needed

Junior-heavy teams need layers of review, estimation ceremony and supervision to stay safe. Five people who have each shipped production .NET for over a decade need far less of it. That is where the speed comes from — not from working longer hours.

Every engagement leaves something behind

Guardrails, inventories, migration plans and documentation stay in your repository when the engagement ends. We are not building a dependency on us; we are leaving your team more capable than we found it.

What it costs you

A page that only listed advantages would be marketing. These are the real trade-offs.

We are not the cheapest hourly rate

Senior-only is more expensive per hour than a blended team with juniors. We make up for it on throughput and on the mistakes that never happen — but if your buying criterion is the lowest rate card, we will lose that comparison, honestly.

Capacity is finite

Five people cannot staff a twenty-engineer programme. We take on what we can do properly and say no to the rest, which occasionally means saying no to you. Sprint-based work can pause and resume; it cannot scale to a department.

We don't do 24/7 operations

We build, migrate, harden and hand over. If you need round-the-clock on-call staffing, that is a different kind of company, and we will tell you so in the first call.

How engagements are staffed

Every engagement — a one-hour session, a two-week sprint, or an end-to-end build — is done by senior engineers from this team. There is no second tier of staff that your work gets handed down to once the sale is made.

The team has 11+ years of .NET experience, 10+ delivered projects and six enterprise clients across the US and Europe. The full story is on the About page; our rates are on the pricing page.

Questions people ask before working with a small team

Do you really have no junior developers?

Yes. We are a team of five senior .NET engineers and nobody else — no juniors, no subcontractors, no offshore bench. When you work with Code Majesty Tech, the people in the meeting are the people building the software.

Isn't a senior-only team more expensive?

Per hour, yes. Per delivered outcome, usually not: fewer people, fewer handoffs, fewer rewrites, and problems recognised early rather than discovered in production. Our pricing is public — $80 for a one-hour session, sprints from $4,800, end-to-end builds from $20,000 — so you can run that comparison yourself.

What happens if you don't have capacity when I need you?

We tell you. Sprint-based engagements are scheduled, so you know your start date before you commit, and work can pause between sprints without a contract penalty. We would rather you wait for a real start date than be staffed by someone we had to find in a hurry.

How is this different from hiring a senior contractor directly?

A single contractor is one person's judgement and one person's availability. Five senior engineers who work together review each other's designs, cover each other's absences, and bring more than one specialism — backend, infrastructure, identity, performance — to the same engagement.

Want to talk to the engineer, not the salesperson?

Book a one-hour session with a senior .NET engineer — $80, no commitment. If it turns into a sprint or a build, the session counts toward it.
